A break-in at an Ann Arbor apartment is believed to have happened at some point between June 27 and when it was reported Tuesday, police said.

An Ann Arbor woman returned to her apartment in the 100 block of North Thayer Street to discover it had been broken into, Ann Arbor police said in a release.

"The unknown suspect used a rock to break the door window and gain access," the release stated.

Once inside, the suspect stole laptops and jewelry, police said.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call the Ann Arbor police anonymous tip line at 734-794-6939 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).
