Police are searching for a man who broke into a Chelsea restaurant Monday morning.

Police are searching for a masked man who used a crowbar to pry his way into a Chelsea restaurant Monday morning and steal money from the tills and safe, police said.
The male suspect entered the building in the 300 block of North Main Street around 2:19 a.m., said Chelsea police Chief Edward Toth.
The restaurant is located in the Chelsea Clocktower Commons where there is an outer set of doors.
"Usually, those doors are locked," Toth said.
They was no sign of forced entry on the outer doors, which leads police to believe they were not locked Sunday night.
The suspect then used a crowbar to pry open the locked, interior door to the restaurant, Toth said.
Once inside, the suspect targeted two tills and a safe, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. The man also trashed the manager's office.

The man appears to be wearing a Carhartt coat, a stocking cap, glasses and a bandana around the face in an effort to disguise himself.
