Huron High School's Huron Players will present Shakespeare's tragedy "MacBeth" on April 26-27 and May 3-4 at 7:30 p.m., at Huron's New Theater (2727 Fuller Road in Ann Arbor), directed by Brian Carbine. Tickets - $8 general, $6 for students/seniors/staff - go on sale 45 minutes before each performance, and advance tickets can be reserved by calling 734-994-2095.

The press release summarizes the play's story: "The victorious Macbeth chances upon three mysterious witches who offer an intriguing prophecy, tempting him with the promise of becoming King. Upon hearing the news, Lady Macbeth urges her husband into murderous action, and what follows is a wild and maddening descent into war, insanity and demons."
